6th International Symposium on the Marfan Syndrome
Researchers from around the world met during the 6th International Symposium on the Marfan Syndrome, held at the University of Washington on August 12-13, 2001. The meeting, hosted by NMF Professional Advisory Board members Peter Byers, M.D., (front row center) and Lynn Sakai, Ph.D. (pictured to the right of Dr. Byers), allowed researchers to hear about the latest developments in clinical and molecular research on the Marfan syndrome and discuss future directions. The National Marfan Foundation helped to facilitate the meeting and provided support.
