FOR PROPOSALS 2006
The
National Marfan Foundation - Research: Grants and Guidelines
The NMF’s grant program is designed
to provide financial support for investigators studying any or all
disciplines involved in the Marfan Syndrome. Special areas of interest
include cardiovascular, genetic, orthopedic and ophthalmologic issues
of the Marfan syndrome and related disorders.
Traditional Grant Program
The National Marfan Foundation
accepts applications on a yearly basis for one- or two-year grants
in basic, translational or clinical research. Applications with
budgets up to $50,000 per year are acceptable. Grant awards are
based on peer review by the NMF Scientific Advisory Board with the
approval of the NMF Board of Directors. For guidelines and application
